There is such a need for modest clothing today.  Clothing that is timeless as well a modest.  That is why Common Sense Patterns was created - to meet just such a need.

We offer many dress, jumper, undergarment, infant, and youth sewing patterns.  We are the only ones selling the Common Sense Patterns line.  Our patterns are printed on very heavy 30 lb. paper allowing many years of use without worrying about your pattern lasting.  We also use a high grade of ink assuring no fading of your pattern will occur. 

As a company, we have found that our greatest strength is our flexibility.  After all, what makes a style a classic?  We believe that it takes a timelessly tailored look combined with the fluid, easy fit of today.  Your comfort is our aim, which is why the patterns were designed with detail that allow you to customize the fit.  Features such as the fold-back cuffs, moveable buttons, bodice darts and waist ties on the dresses make the finished garment as flexible and unique as you are.

We are offering ANY 2 or 3 CONSECUTIVE pattern sizes for one price (depending on the type of pattern.)  Most preteen patterns are any 2 consecutive sizes but all women's and most girl patterns are any 3 consecutive sizes.  What does this really mean?  If you are like me, you are constantly returning items because one outfit may run large while another runs small.  For example, if you are a size 10 for instance, you can order sizes 8 - 10 - 12.  Or if you are usually a size 8, you can order sizes 6 - 8 - 10 and feel confident one of the sizes will fit you or your child perfectly.

If you purchase a pattern and you have a suggestion as to how we can improve the instructions, please send us your suggested changes or enhancements and if we use them, we will send you 1 FREE pattern of your choice.  (You help us get better and we'll reward you)

This is only the beginning.  We are adding patterns often.  We have over 300 styles available and will be adding them as we are able.  This is an exciting time.
